Water early mornings, check edges/seams for dryness, and adjust for heat or rainfall.
Remove existing grass/weeds (sod cutter or treatment), haul away debris, loosen the top 3–4" of soil, and correct grading to drain away from structures. Amend with compost/topsoil if needed, rake smooth, verify irrigation coverage, and lightly moisten soil just before install. We schedule delivery and laying the same day for best results.
Spring and early fall are ideal for most varieties; summer installs are fine with increased watering, and winter installs are possible during mild conditions with proper aftercare.
